(AUG. 2019 - PRESENT) Apollo HVAC Corp. (Sept. 2018- Aug. 21 2019): Welding various sizes of black pipe in all positions with 6010 root and 7018 cap. Required to read prints and fit pipe. Build pipe stands and racks based on prints and/or verbal instructions. Build pipe supports and stands without supervision. Worked with Project Manager and Engineer to solve problems as they occurred on the job. Firematic Inc, (June 2015- Sept. 2018 ); Fabrication of off road fire trucks, B.R.A.T., from blue prints; aluminum flat beds, cabinets, and tool boxes. These welds are visible on polished diamond plate and welds must be "show" quality. Roll cages and brush guards are fabricated out of polished aluminum or steel pipe. Stainless Steel manifolds are fabricated which are mounted then plumbed to pumps. The manifolds hold a number of valves that feed a complicated seriers of piping which water is supplied to various components through out the truck. Northeast Steel Fabricators INC. (Nov 2012 - current). Reading drawings, laid out structural columns, beams, and corresponding clips. Weld SMAW, GTAW, and FCAW depending on the drawing specs for structural welding. Worked along side engineers in problem solving design issues. Laid out stringers for stairs and rails. Heavy equipment repairs; including blade repair and have replaced hydraulic ram eyes in LULLS. Worked in field, including structural steel in the city as well as some pipe welding in the Riverhead distribution terminal. Have held lead positions in field. As lead I had to coordinate with other trades, contact work crew for needed personnel on site, plan work to be completed in requested time schedules. Chemicolloid Labaoratories INC. (May 2010-current / part time) Built small asphalt mixing skids. 16’ X 8’ skid is made up of 5” X 8” I beams. They are notched and fit together. The beams are welded with 7018 1/8” rods all the way around. Requires welding 4 and 2 inch low pressure steel pipe with T joints and flanges. Welding process is TIG first pass then cap with 7018 1/8”rod. TIG weld 2” Stainless steel pipe with T joints and flanges. All the pipe is plumbed true and comes together to a mixing valve that consists of reducers inside of a 4” inch T joint. I made the jigs necessary to make sure alignment and flanges were all true. Read Blue prints of all assembly and welding instructions to build asphalt mixing skid. Built equipment bases to blue print specs out of steel and stainless steel. Palo Verde Nuclear Power Plant, AZ (Sept. 2012 – Oct. 2012) Granted unescorted access to plant. Passed 6G x-ray stainless steel test. Welded Stainless Steel Piping in accordance with plant specifications including pipe 20 inches in diameter by 5/8 inch thick. MRP,LLC. (May 2009-2010) Welding to code structural steel for World Trade Center in South Plainfeild, NJ. This is a production shop. Must weld fillet welds from ¼ to 1”. Have to read symbols and follow preheat instructions. Welds are ultrasound tested (UT) on site, port authority must okay welds before they are allowed to leave property. Failed welds are cut out using carbon arc process (gouging), rewelded, then retested.
